Gemma Dale

Gemma Dale is a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University since September 2019, specializing in employment law, organisational behaviour, wellbeing, and business management for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As a Co-Founder of The Work Consultancy since December 2016, Gemma assists businesses with their personnel needs as a board advisor. Prior to these roles, Gemma served as the UK HR Director at Tunstall Healthcare from April 2013 to November 2016, where oversight of HR and Internal Communications was a key responsibility, alongside developing people strategies to enhance employer attractiveness. Gemma's extensive HR experience includes leadership roles at KCOM Group from 2005 to 2013, where responsibilities ranged from head of HR to Group Employee Relations and Policy Manager, and earlier as an HR Consultant at Hays Logistics. Gemma holds an MA in Industrial Relations and Employment Law from Keele University, a PGDip in Personnel Management from Leeds Beckett University, and an LLB in Law from Keele University.
