DeOnjai James

DeOnjai James has a diverse work experience in various roles. From 2022 to the present, they have worked at LiveSchool as a Support Specialist, providing technical and pedagogical support to students, teachers, and school leaders. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2022, DeOnjai worked at Chicago Public Schools as a School Counselor/Technology Coordinator, where they provided educational, referral, and advocacy support to clients and families. They also worked at Youth Guidance as a Bam Counselor from 2015 to 2016, focusing on socio-emotional development and data analysis for students living in poverty. In 2014, DeOnjai worked at Aetna as a Case Management Coordinator, handling customer inquiries and managing payment processes. They also briefly worked as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Human Resources Development Institute in 2014.

DeOnjai James has a diverse education history. From 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Lewis University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
