Adnan Mahmud has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. In 2013, they founded FORWARD Platform, a leading Integrated Program Administration solution that provides an end-to-end, turnkey solution to local governments to administer their public assistance programs. In 2007, they co-founded Jolkona Foundation, a non-profit that educates, empowers and engages a new generation of philanthropists. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at Microsoft Research as a Program Manager, managing a wide array of tech transfer and incubation projects for Microsoft Research Asia lab in Beijing. Adnan was also responsible for managing the various feedback pipelines utilized by all Microsoft products. During their time at Microsoft Research, they were awarded multiple patents related to data mining and visualization.
Adnan Mahmud received their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2003. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Angelo State University between 1997 and 2001. Adnan also attended St. Mary's International School from 1988 to 1993.
