Andres Arenas V has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Andres began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad de los Andes in 2012. In 2013, they interned at Telefónica. After that, they worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Novcat, where they developed mobile and web applications using Django, Python, Java, and NoSQL databases. Andres then joined Bizagi as a Front-end Software Engineer, contributing to the development of Bizagi's Engine software and enhancing its mobile features. In 2016, they joined LiveVox as a Software Engineer, responsible for developing customized web applications using Sencha ExtJS framework. Over the years, they progressed to Senior Software Engineer and later became a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where they served as a team lead, overseeing architectural definition for UI apps and contributing to UI/UX definition for company products. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineering Architect at LiveVox.
Andres Arenas V obtained a Systems and Computing Engineering degree from Universidad de Los Andes in 2014, with a focus on web application development. Andres also holds several certifications, including "Evaluating User Interfaces," "User Research and Design," "Prototyping and Design," and "Introduction to UI Design," all obtained in 2020 from Coursera Course Certificates. Additionally, they are certified as a Scrum Master and Scrum Fundamentals, acquired in 2018 and 2008 respectively, from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Andres has also completed various courses in data structures, JavaScript frameworks, and web UI frameworks and tools, all obtained between 2015 and 2016 from Coursera Course Certificates.
