Emma Thomasson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and leadership roles. Currently serving as a University Tutor for Compelling Communication Skills at University of Cambridge Online since August 2023, Emma also holds the position of Senior Communications Manager at Livewell Southwest since February 2022. Prior to these roles, Emma worked at BBC from February 2004 to February 2022 as a Multi Media Journalist, focusing on digital video editing and social media, and as a Broadcast Journalist. Emma began their career as a Broadcast Journalist at Plymouth Sound Radio from May 1997 to January 2004. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from Falmouth University and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish from Liverpool John Moores University.
