Steve Waite currently serves as the Chief Executive of Livewell Southwest, a position held since April 2011, overseeing integrated health and social care services for adults in Plymouth and surrounding areas, as well as children's health services. Prior to this role, Steve held multiple positions at Plymouth Primary Care Trust from March 2007 to April 2011, including Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations. Steve’s earlier career includes a commission in the Royal Naval Reserve and a role as Director of Nursing at NHS Plymouth from 2003 to 2005. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Healthcare from Exeter University, a Registered General Nurse certification from Plymouth District School of Nursing, and diplomas in Nursing and Management Studies from the University of Plymouth.
