Reese Register

Reese Register is an undergraduate research fellow at the Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center since August 2022, and serves as the founding president of Brownies Outdoors, an organization dedicated to increasing African American participation in outdoor activities. In addition to involvement with the Hampton University Women’s Lacrosse Club and Women’s Soccer Team as a student athlete, Reese has contributed as a researcher for the Greater Farallones Association and the UCSC Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program. Previously, Reese worked as a lifeguard and assistant manager at Jacksonville Parks and Recreation from May 2017 to March 2022. Currently pursuing a degree in Marine and Environmental Science at Hampton University, Reese also attended Florida State College at Jacksonville, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences.
