Sonia Liu

Sonia Liu is currently employed as a Freshwater/Saltwater Aquarist 1 at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium since November 2023, having previously held the role of Freshwater Aquarist I at the same organization. Sonia's prior experience includes a position as a Passive Acoustics Research Intern at NOAA, where funding was used to analyze marine soundscapes in Western Australia. Additional experience comprises roles as a Waitress and Delivery Driver at Fortune Cookie, a Captioning Agent at CaptionCall, and a Zoological Saltwater Intern at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Marine Biology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah.
