Senior Product Development Process Engineer at Living Proof

Olivia Brown has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Olivia started their career as a Pathfinder at L.C. Smith College of Engineering & Computer Science PRIDE Programs, where they mentored and guided freshman engineering students. Olivia then worked at O'Brien & Gere on a project called Spark: Ignition Innovation and Intrapreneurship Challenge, where they designed a process to separate and reuse a waste product from Greek yogurt. Their team won first place in this challenge.

Olivia then joined Kolmar Laboratories I A KDC Company as a Research & Development Junior Personal Care Chemist, where they successfully formulated and reverse engineered personal care, color cosmetics, and OTC products. Olivia also served as an Intern Coordinator and mentored a team of interns. Olivia later became a Process Engineer at Kolmar Laboratories, optimizing lab processes for full-scale GMP production and ensuring high-quality product.

Olivia then worked for Rise Against Hunger as a Certified Hunger Event Facilitator, organizing and facilitating "Meal Packaging Events" to help fight world hunger. Currently, Olivia is working at Living Proof, Inc. as a Senior Product Development Process Engineer. Their role includes overseeing and optimizing the scale-up process of hair care products and managing production and quality control samples.

Olivia Brown completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Syracuse University from 2010 to 2014. Olivia then pursued a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus in Cosmetic Engineering at Manhattan College from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their university education, Olivia attended Turners Falls High School from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained certifications in "Building Self-Confidence" and "Managing Your Time" from LinkedIn in August 2017 and July 2017 respectively. Olivia also obtained a certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
