Lydia Hallay is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in real estate, creative direction, and labor organization. Currently serving as a Real Estate Broker at Living Room Realty since June 2022, Lydia assists clients in the home buying and selling process. Simultaneously, as Creative Director at Hired Thumb since June 2020, Lydia specializes in landscape design and project coordination, emphasizing plant-filled environments suitable for the Pacific Northwest and Sonoran desert. Previously, Lydia held significant roles at the Oregon Nurses Association and Oregon AFSCME Council 75, leading strategic campaigns to improve healthcare and workplace conditions. Additional contributions include teaching and curriculum development at the University of Oregon's Labor Education and Research Center and founding efforts for the Montavilla Food Co-op. Lydia holds a BA in Creative Writing and Feminist/Queer Theory from the University of Arizona.
