Scott Draffin has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Scott worked at Livingston and Haven starting from 2011, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering from January 2016 to June 2021, and Engineering Manager - R&D from December 2011 to December 2015. In these roles, they were responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, creating and tracking new product development activities, and managing department budgets. Before joining Livingston and Haven, Scott worked at Westinghouse Electric Company from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they served as a Sr. Project Engineer, leading projects involving the development and implementation of nuclear fuel components, and as a Manufacturing Engineer. Overall, Scott has a diverse range of experience in engineering and management roles throughout their career.
Scott Draffin received their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the College of Charleston in 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they attended the University of South Carolina, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Scott then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008.
