David Hayes, MS, MFA has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. David currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Forensic Psychology at Madonna University and Lindenwood University. David is also a Consulting Criminologist for the City of Lansing Police Department, specializing in Cold Case investigations. In addition, they work as an Adult Education Communications Specialist at Livingston Educational Service Agency and as an Adjunct Instructor at Purdue University Global.

In their previous roles, David served as a Communications Evaluator at Western Governors University and as the Lead Investigator and Founding Partner at SafeCampus: Title IX Solutions, where they conducted comprehensive investigations and provided reporting for formal and informal hearings.

David also worked at Cleary University, where they served as a Civil Rights Investigator and Adjunct Instructor, as well as an Associate Professor of Psychology, Communications, and Dean of Undergraduate Studies. David Hayes, MS, MFA has an extensive education history in various fields. David obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Michigan State University in 1994, after completing their high school education at Howell High School in 1989.

In their pursuit of further education, David obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice from Purdue Global in 2021. David then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University in 2013.

David continued their academic journey by earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from National University in 2009. David is currently working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Forensic Psychology as a doctoral student at Walden University, with an expected completion date of 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, David has obtained various certifications. David became a Doctoral Student Researcher through the CITI Program in April 2023. David also received a certificate as a Purdue Global Faculty member in March 2023. Furthermore, David holds the certification of Professional Investigator (Private Investigator/Detective) from the State of Michigan since January 2023.
