Valerie Benson

Valerie Benson currently serves as an ASIST Suicide Intervention Trainer at LivingWorks since August 2025. Previously, Valerie held the role of Regional President at Commercial Alliance from May 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included designing and executing a national expansion strategy and directing partnership negotiations. Before this, Valerie was a Senior Business Consultant, focusing on formulating business offerings and strengthening client relationships. Valerie also served as Regional President at Cooperative Business Services from July 2018 to June 2020, leading business growth across the Southeastern U.S. At Georgia United Credit Union from April 2016 to July 2018, Valerie established and led the commercial division, overseeing portfolio operations and compliance. Valerie's career began at BrandBank (GA) from September 2014 to April 2016 as a Senior Credit Officer and SVP, managing various commercial portfolios. Valerie holds a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance from LSU Graduate School of Banking and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shorter University.
