Charles A. Patout

Charles A. Patout, III, PLA, is a Principal and Manager of Landscape Architecture Services at LJA, where employment has spanned from August 2010 to present. With a background in mixed-use and high-density projects, Charles has expertise in site design, construction documentation, grading, hardscape layout, planting, and irrigation. From 2012 to June 2020, Charles served as South Reach Chair and Co-Chair for the Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition. Prior experience as a Landscape Architect at SLA Studio Land from August 2004 to July 2010 complements a brief internship at Ohtori Consultants in Osaka, Japan, where Charles assisted notable designer Yoji Sasaki and gained international exposure to urban landscapes. Charles earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University between 1997 and 2004.
