Jake Williams, PE, CSP

Jake Williams, PE, CSP has a diverse work experience in civil engineering and environmental, safety, and health management. Jake currently works as a Senior Program Manager at LJB Inc. since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Civil Engineer/Environmental, Safety, and Health Manager at MarCom, LLC. from January 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining MarCom, LLC., Jake worked at REK ASSOCIATES as a Civil Engineer/Fall Protection Specialist from June 2017 to December 2019, providing civil engineering and fall protection consultation services to clients including the U.S. Navy.

From August 2009 to June 2017, they served as a Civil Engineer/Fall Protection Specialist at Portage, Inc., where they were involved in various civil engineering projects and also served as the lead civil engineer for the design of two facilities for Idaho National Laboratory (INL).

Prior to that, Jake gained experience as a Civil Engineer at Aspen Engineering from January 2008 to August 2009, where they were involved in designing roadways, overseeing utility installation, and resolving discrepancies between design and installation.

Jake also worked as a Civil Engineer at Portage Inc. from March 2006 to December 2008, and earlier in their career, they served as an Engineer at the State of Utah, Div. of Water Resources from 2004 to 2006.

Jake Williams, PE, CSP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Utah State University from 1998 to 2004. In May 2019, they obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Jake also holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license from the State of Idaho, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
