Robert Yin has extensive work experience in the field of project management and bridge design and inspection. Robert has been working at LJB Inc. since 2021, where they serve as a Project Manager and is responsible for supporting the company's business development in Northeast Ohio. In addition, they have served as an Adjunct Faculty at Case Western Reserve University since 2022.
Prior to their current roles, Yin worked at KS Associates, Inc. from 2019 to 2021 as the Bridge Group Leader of the KS Transportation Group. Before that, they worked at CDM Smith from 2007 to 2019 as a Project Manager and Lead Structural Engineer. Robert joined CDM Smith as a senior structural engineer in 2007, after spending 10 years with other consulting firms. Yin is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and holds a master's degree in civil engineering.
Earlier in their career, Yin worked as a Senior Bridge Engineer at KCI Technologies, Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Robert also held positions as a Senior Bridge Engineer at Euthenics, Inc. from 2001 to 2005, a Design Engineer at Resource International Inc. from 1999 to 2001, and a Bridge Engineer at Northwest Consultants, Inc. from 1997 to 1999.
Robert Yin completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Structural Engineering from Tsinghua University during the period of 1989 to 1994. Robert then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University from 1994 to 1997.
