Chris Bethell

Chris Bethell has over 40 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering. Chris started their career at Bombardier Transportation, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer and was responsible for wiring rolling stock, cabinet and panel wiring, as well as conducting electrical and electronic fault finding. Chris then joined Nikon Metrology, where they served as an Electrical Draughtsman for 23 years. In this role, they were responsible for designing electrical components using various design packages and liaising with other departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers. At Nikon Metrology, they also worked as an Electrical Engineer, handling tasks such as wiring CMMs, electrical and electronic fault finding, and computer system run-up and software installation. Currently, Chris Bethell holds the position of Electrical Draughtsman at LK Metrology, where they continue to utilize their expertise in electrical design.

Chris Bethell attended Derby College of Further Education from 1979 to 1985, where they studied Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Parkfields Comprehensive, but specific dates and details about their studies at that institution are not provided.
