Romain Girard

Romain Girard has a diverse work experience spanning various companies in the metrology industry. Romain is currently working as a Senior Application Engineer at LK Metrology since May 2022. Prior to that, from September 2018 to May 2022, they worked at Safran Aircraft Engines as a Technician in Programming and Central Methods for MMT, SPC, and ICEG. In addition, they briefly served as an Ambassador for YERS from November 2018 to January 2019. Romain also worked at LK Metrology as an Application Engineer from April 2018 to August 2018. Before that, from May 2015 to April 2018, they were an Application Engineer at NIKON METROLOGY, providing support and training to dealers in the SEMEA region. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Application Technician at ZEISS Industrial Metrology from July 2011 to April 2015. Romain's career began as a Metrologist at MECAFONDO from September 2009 to June 2011. Romain then worked as a Technical Application Technician at ZEISS Industrial Metrology from September 2008 to July 2009, where they focused on training, measurement services, and program development for 3D measurement machines.

Romain Girard's education history starts in 2005 when they enrolled in Lycée Saint Nicolas and completed their BTS Mecanisme et Automatisme Industriel in 2007. Following this, in 2007, they attended Université Paris 13 and earned a Licence professionnelle in Production industrielle (L2PI) with a specialization in Metrology and Quality Control in 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Romain obtained the COFFMET niv 1 in March 2014 and the COFFMET niv 2 in November 2014. However, the institution granting these certifications is unknown.
