Luke Horcica

Partner at Lloyd Sadd

Luke hopes to be named “the one to call” when it comes to his insurance specialty. He learns his clients’ businesses inside and out in order to build a strong partnership with each one. His list of qualifications and training is a long one. It includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta and his CIP designation. When he arrived at Lloyd Sadd in 2000, his experience as an underwriter would provide him a more-than stable foundation to become an Account Executive. He quickly found his insurance industry niche and focused his career on what he knows best: Hospitality, Construction, and Real Estate/Property Management. In the same way that Luke seeks to master risk management and loss prevention in his sector, he grew up perfecting his game of tennis. He spent his summers training and playing in tournaments, that led him to be a nationally ranked tennis player as a Junior, and won his national title with the University of Alberta Golden Bears. His time is now split between the tennis court and golf course ideally with his family. Luke volunteers in the Fundraising Committee for Wheels for Wellness and is an annual participant of Car Rally to support the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Mental Health Foundation.
