LLoyd Staffing was founded in 1971 by current CEO Merrill Banks, CSP. Under his direction, LLoyd has grown into the largest privately owned staffing firm on Long Island (NY) and is a well-respected name in the industry. Merrill continues to direct corporate-wide initiatives, including the continued expansion of Executive Search engagement and the leadership of LLoydSouth, the southern hub. One key element in Merrill’s leadership role and management plan is his emphasis on national certification and his visible role as an advocate of professional development within the staffing industry. In this regard, he has served as President of both the Long Island and New York State Associations of Personnel Consultants, chaired the Ethics, Law, and Certifications committees of the State Association, and received the Industry Service Award, the organization’s highest honor. Merrill’s activities in professional development on an industry level are combined with an emphasis on individual growth and education.
