Suman Datta

Suman Datta currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Quantitative Research at Lloyds Banking Group, a position held since July 2008. Key responsibilities include leading securitisation analytics, overseeing FRTB quant initiatives, and enhancing risk management technologies. Prior to this role, Suman was a Director at Lloyds, leading a quant team focused on credit products, and before that served as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at ABN AMRO and as an IT Consultant at MUFG. Suman began a career in technology at Zensar Technologies, progressing to a team lead role. Suman holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University.
