William Chalmers

William joined the Board in August 2019, when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, and was appointed Interim Group Chief Executive in May 2021. He has significant board level strategic and financial leadership experience including strategic planning and development, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital structuring and risk management.

He has worked in financial services for over 25 years. William was admitted to the New York Bar in 1993, has a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Harvard Law School and a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from Edinburgh University.
