Douglas Downie

Douglas Downie has extensive experience in engineering and maintenance, having served as a Mechanical and Plant Maintenance Technician and Senior Aircrafts Man Ground Support Equipment Technician in the Royal Air Force from 2000 to 2011. Following that, Douglas worked as a GSE Controller and UK and Denmark GSE Controller at CHC Helicopter from 2013 to 2019, where responsibilities included the management and maintenance of ground support equipment, training personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Douglas briefly held the position of Engineering Surveyor at Bureau Veritas Group from October 2019 until July 2021. Currently, Douglas is unemployed and actively seeking new opportunities.
