Paul Averkiou

Paul Averkiou is an experienced Business Analyst currently working at Lloyd's since July 2023. Prior to this role, Paul served as VP of Transaction Screening at Silent Eight and as ISO 20022 Sanctions Product Owner at HSBC, where Paul focused on ISO20022 impacts in sanctions screening. Paul has also held various key positions, including Sanctions Consultant at AVERKIOU BUSINESS CONSULTANTS LIMITED, Consultant roles at Accenture and Parker Fitzgerald, and several roles at RBS, including Head of Transaction Filtering systems management. With a BSc (Hons) in Computer Studies from London South Bank University, Paul has a strong background in sanctions screening, payments systems, and middleware solutions in the financial sector.
