Cynthia Liss, MSN, BSN, RN has over 40 years of experience in the nursing field. In 1978, they began their career as Head Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the Midwest Regional Spinal Cord Unit. Cynthia Liss, MSN, then went on to work as a Full-time Faculty at George Mason University's School of Nursing from 2000 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as Chair of the Breckinridge School of Nursing and Health Sciences at ITT Technical Institute, where they were responsible for program development, collaboration with the VA Board of Nursing, and launching the newly approved Medical Assisting and Administration Associate's Degree program. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Community Liaison/Home Health at Inova Vna Home Health Inc. Currently, they are the Director of Nursing at Lifematters.
Cynthia Liss obtained their Master's Degree in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1987 and their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Lewis University. Cynthia Liss, MSN, also holds a certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals from the American Heart Association's Professional Education Center.
