Ilya Khazen

Ilya Khazen is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in institutional sales and prime brokerage. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Sales for the Americas at LMAX Group since July 2025, Ilya previously held the position of Co-Head of Sales for the Americas at Copper.co, focusing on custody, clearing, and prime services for digital assets from April 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that, Ilya worked at Société Générale as Vice President of Sales in global markets institutional sales, specializing in listed derivatives and OTC clearing from April 2020 to April 2022. Ilya's earlier career includes a decade at Goldman Sachs, starting as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in 2009, followed by a role as Vice President in the prime brokerage's new business group, managing relationships in global securities until April 2020. Ilya holds a degree in Finance and Economics from Lehigh University and a language degree from East China Normal University.
