Yann Morize

Yann Morize is a product manager at Loadsmart since May 2021, overseeing three teams, including the management of the acquired Navtrac, a Computer Vision-powered Yard Management System, and user-facing data products. Previously, Yann held the position of software engineer, focusing on data science tasks such as optimizing box packing algorithms, estimating CO2 emissions for shipments, and developing a microservice for shipment recommendations. Yann started the journey at Loadsmart as a data science intern, contributing to the classification of tracking signals and price prediction models. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Swiss Fresh Water in product design. Educational background includes a master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation from EPFL and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL, along with bachelor courses at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
