Daniel Vilchis

Daniel Vilchis began their career in 2011 as a UI/UX Designer at Mobique Soft, where they worked on iOS applications and character design for video games. Daniel then joined Universidad Autonoma de Chiapas as a Web Developer for four years. In 2015, they worked at SYE Software SA DE CV as a Front End Developer and UI/UX Designer. Daniel then gained experience as a Computer System Analyst at eDataWorld Solutions in 2015-2016. From 2016 to 2017, Vilchis worked at IBM, first as a Senior Front End Developer and then as an IT Specialist - Technical Lead. Daniel then joined Digital OnUs as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017 to 2019. At Globant, they worked as a Senior UI Dev from 2019 to 2021. Following that, they worked at GlobalLogic as a Frontend Developer until 2022. Currently, Vilchis is a Senior Consultant at GitLab and is working as a Senior Software Engineer at LoanPro.

Daniel Vilchis has a diverse education history. In 2003, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Fray Bartolome de las Casas, specializing in Visual arts and Graphic Communication. From 2012 to 2017, they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería (Degree in Engineering) in Software Engineering from Universidad Abierta y a Distancia de México. In 2012 and 2013, they also completed a Master's degree in E-commerce Management from Universidad del Sur de México. In 2015, Daniel obtained a Diplomado (Diploma) in Digital Animation and 3D Design from 3DMX University. Daniel furthered their knowledge in web development by completing a Diplomado in Advanced Web Developer from Aula Virtual - Adobe Authorized Training Center in 2007-2008. Additionally, they enhanced their skills in User Experience and Interaction Design through an unspecified period of study at The Interaction Design Foundation. In 2016, they acquired expertise in Unity 3D Game Development from UNIAT. Daniel also demonstrated their inclination towards business innovation by earning a Certificate in Innovation and Design Thinking from CEDIM México in 2019-2020. Recently, between 2022 and 2024, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet. Daniel further expanded their knowledge in marketing by obtaining the HubSpot Design Certification from HubSpot Academy Certifications in 2015.
