Maggie Lawson

Maggie Lawson has over 20 years of experience in the legal industry, primarily in the finance and automotive sectors. Maggie is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at Lobel Financial since March 2020. Prior to that, from September 2019 to March 2020, they worked as the General Counsel and Senior Vice President at CarFinance.

Before joining CarFinance, Maggie was employed at Flagship Credit Acceptance for five years, from July 2014 to August 2019, where they held the position of Senior Counsel and Vice President. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Counsel at Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.

Further back in their career, Maggie worked as the Corporate Counsel II and Assistant Secretary at Triad Financial Corporation from 2000 to 2007. Maggie began their career as an Associate General Counsel at PSB Lending Corporation, where they worked from 1998 to 2000.

Maggie Lawson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Chico. Maggie also holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
