David Markwell

David Markwell is currently the EVP & Chief Technology & Analytics Officer at Loblaw. Prior to this, they were with Scaleai.ca and before that, they were a Board Member with The Foundation for Student Achievement. David has also worked with Queen's School of Business and Loblaw Companies Limited in the past.

David Markwell has a Doctor of Business Administration from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. David is also certified by PADI in PADI Open Water.

They are on a team with Barry K. Columb - President, President's Choice Financial, Jeff Leger - President, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Greg Ramier - President, Market Division. David Markwell reports to Galen G. Weston, Executive Chairman and Director.
