Harpal Randhawa has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. After starting their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate, they joined Loblaw Companies Limited in 2004 as a Manager of Financial Reporting. In 2005, they moved to Shoppers Drug Mart, where they held various roles in accounting policy, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and corporate strategy. In 2017, Shoppers Drug Mart became an independent division of Loblaw Companies Limited, where Harpal continued to work in finance, eventually becoming the Vice-President of Finance for the Market Division. In 2021, they were promoted to Vice-President of Finance for Financial Planning & Analysis. Currently, Harpal holds the position of SVP Finance, FP&A and Finance Operations at Loblaw Companies Limited.

Harpal Randhawa CPA, CA completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting at Schulich School of Business - York University from 1996 to 2000. In 2003, they obtained a Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Recently, in 2021, Harpal completed the Next Generation CFO Academy at Deloitte.
