Anne Sheedy

Anne Sheedy (Gardner) is a highly experienced calligrapher and artist specializing in sacred art and wedding commissions, with a career spanning from April 2001 to the present. As the owner of Wedding Scribe Calligraphy, Anne creates exquisite calligraphy for weddings and important events, working closely with clients to design invitations, guest books, and other celebratory items. Anne also serves as a Touring Artist for both the Mid-America Arts Alliance and the Nebraska Arts Council, conducting workshops and performances throughout the Midwest. Additional roles include being a founding member of Great Plains Chamber Winds, a calligraphy teacher at Different Directions, and participating in special projects as a calligrapher for Bozell Advertising. Anne's professional affiliations include membership in the Society of Scribes and IAMPETH. Education includes study at Yale University and the Conservatorio di Musica di Santa Cecilia, along with master classes and private studies in calligraphy and heraldry.
