Jared Newlen

Jared Newlen is an experienced music educator and professional musician, currently serving as Music Faculty at Dwight-Englewood School since April 2017, where responsibilities include teaching flute, clarinet, and saxophone lessons to students across all school levels, as well as directing the Lower School Band. Since April 2013, Jared has been a professional musician with AFM, Local 802, specializing in woodwinds with performance experience in Broadway and musical theater, concert settings, and jazz. Jared holds a Master’s degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
