John Rudolph Mueller

John Rudolph Mueller has a diverse work experience that spans various fields. John Rudolph began their career as a Congressional Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012. Following that, they worked as an Information Specialist at Cornell University and later became the Head Teaching Assistant for a psychology course.

In 2013, John joined Teach For America as a Corps Member, where they served as a mentor teacher for a few months. During this time, they also worked as a Special Education Teacher and Instructional Coach at the NYC Department of Education. Their responsibilities included delivering specialized curricula, assessing students with learning disabilities, and serving as a case manager.

John furthered their involvement in education by becoming a Faculty Apprentice at Hunter College in 2015, where they observed and coached Master's Degree students. John Rudolph then returned to Teach For America as a Mentor Teacher in 2017.

In 2011, John co-founded Cayuga's Watchers, a non-profit organization that provided event supervision and bystander intervention education to the Cornell community. John Rudolph served as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Most recently, John joined Local Civics in 2019 as the Head of Curriculum & Instruction. This education technology platform focuses on gamifying civic participation for middle and high school students, while also providing professional development opportunities for educators.

John Rudolph Mueller completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Cornell University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Secondary Special Education Programs at Hunter College, attending from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, John obtained several certifications. John Rudolph completed the following courses from IBM: "Databases and SQL for Data Science," "Data Science Methodology," "Open Source Tools for Data Science," "Python for Data Science and AI," and "What Is Data Science?" These certifications were obtained in April and May of 2020.

Furthermore, John obtained a Real Estate Salesperson certification from the New York State Department of State in September 2018. Additionally, they hold a certification as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
