Bagrat Safarian has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bagrat is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of LocalExpress, an end-to-end grocery e-commerce platform. In this role, they are focused on store expansion, platform scalability, and product database growth. Bagrat also serves as an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council, beginning in November 2021.
Prior to their current roles, Bagrat was a Board Member at Tempo France - Money Transfer, a money transfer startup in Europe. Bagrat worked in this position from 2014 to 2019, utilizing innovative technology and cryptocurrency to make money transfers fair and convenient.
Bagrat also has experience as a Managing Director at RnB Capital from 2008 to 2014, and as a CFO at Industrial Solutions in 2008. Bagrat held the position of Director, Investment Banking at CentreInvest Securities from 2004 to 2008.
Additionally, Bagrat began their career as a Consultant at PA Consulting from 1998 to 2002, before moving to Hagler Bailly Consulting as a Consultant from 1996 to 1998.
Bagrat Safarian attended the State Engineering University of Armenia from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on low temperature physics. Following this, they pursued further education at the USC Marshall School of Business from 2002 to 2003, earning a Master's degree in Corporate Finance.
