Darian Cobb

Darian Cobb, MPA, CUDE, currently serves as Community Impact Manager at Local Government Federal Credit Union since February 2020, with previous roles including Financial Inclusion & Community Strategies Manager and Senior Community Development Research Analyst. Darian’s expertise includes preparing and tracking CDFI grant reporting and developing written procedures for grant processes. Prior experience includes serving as an NCACC-ICMA Local Government Management Fellow with Cumberland County and a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where responsibilities encompassed maximizing undergraduate research visibility. Additional experience features a Management Internship with the City of Rocky Mount focused on Brownfield and Superfund Site Redevelopment and a Customer Service Assistant position at the Imperial Centre. Darian holds a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Community and Economic Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International and Global Studies, along with a minor in History, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
