John Sapora

John Sapora is an experienced program officer specializing in housing resiliency at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since June 2018, where responsibilities include promoting interventions for wealth-building through homeownership in formerly redlined neighborhoods. John has played a pivotal role in disaster recovery initiatives, particularly following Hurricane Irma, by collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance community resilience. John’s legal experience includes serving as an intake attorney at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, operating a private practice focused on corporate and real estate matters, and providing legal counsel as Vice President of Legal Services at The First Tee. John holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Florida, a Master of Divinity from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
