Local Initiatives Support
Kristen Baker is an experienced community development professional currently serving as the Executive Director at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since May 2011. In this role, Kristen engages a diverse array of community partners to deliver holistic services within targeted neighborhoods and is driving the implementation of the Housing Our Future strategy to enhance housing affordability in Hamilton County. Previously, Kristen held the position of Deputy Director at LISC, providing technical assistance to community development corporations, and has also worked as a Community Development Associate at the Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington, a Consultant at LA Raterman Associates, and a Senior Community Impact Associate at the United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Kristen earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dayton.
