Lauren E. McGowan

Lauren E. McGowan is the Executive Director of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Puget Sound, where strategic efforts focus on expanding programs and services across Washington State to address both immediate challenges and long-term inequities facing low-income and marginalized communities. Additionally, Lauren serves as Principal Consultant at Revolution Strategies, a consulting firm dedicated to advancing equitable solutions to end poverty. Previously, Lauren held various leadership roles at United Way of King County, including Associate Vice President of Ending Homelessness and Poverty, where initiatives like a $100M Community Relief Fund were launched. Lauren's extensive experience includes managing significant budgets, mobilizing resources, and developing innovative programs aimed at addressing homelessness and poverty. Lauren holds a degree from Emerson College.
