Oramenta Newsome currently serves as the Vice President for the District of Columbia and Virginia LISC Program at LISC, a position held since January 1995, where responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations as Executive Director of DC LISC and providing support to the Virginia LISC program in Richmond. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director at the Enterprise Foundation from March 1992 to November 1994, and Program Director at the City of Fort Worth Planning Department from 1985 to 1992, where foundational skills in city planning were developed. Oramenta Newsome holds a Master's of Science degree in Urban Planning from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Auburn University.
