Alex Pien

Alex Pien has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2023, Alex has been working at Local Kitchens as the Market GM & Head of Catering.

Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, Alex worked at Meta in the Product Strategy team, focusing on Reality Labs projects.

Before joining Meta, Alex had a significant tenure at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) starting from 2016. At BCG, Alex held multiple roles including Project Leader, where they led due-diligence, go-to-market strategy, and digital work for private equity, technology, and financial services clients. Alex was also selected for BCG's Digital Rotation Program, where they built and launched products at Digital Ventures and implemented data science solutions at GAMMA.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Consultant and an Associate at BCG, starting from 2016 and ending in 2020.

Alex also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Caltech from 2015 to 2016 and as an Engineering Intern at International Rectifier, an Infineon Technologies Company, from June 2015 to September 2015.

Alex Pien completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they also had a study abroad experience at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
