Miguel Bermudez has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Miguel is currently working as a Lead Full-Stack Developer at Local Projects since 2022.

Prior to this, Miguel worked at Carbon Health from 2020 to 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer. During their time there, they played a crucial role in developing both frontend and backend systems for Carbon's engineering infrastructure and user-facing products. Miguel also contributed to the creation of the Carbon HealthPass, a HIPAA-compliant digital vaccine card for patients needing proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Before joining Carbon Health, Miguel worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2015 to 2020. Initially, they served as a UX Engineer in the MSK Data Products team, where they focused on creating advanced and intuitive products for the hospital in the field of digital health and medical data science. Miguel later became a Senior UX Engineer and eventually a Lead Front-end Engineer, leading the development of innovative digital health solutions.

Prior to their time at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Miguel worked as a Design Technologist at Control Group from 2012 to 2015. Miguel also served as an Adjunct Professor at Sarah Lawrence College from 2013 to 2014, where they shared their expertise in interactive development. Earlier in their career, Miguel worked as an Interactive Developer at potion from 2010 to 2012 and as a Production Designer at MTV Networks from 2009 to 2011.

Miguel Bermudez completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Architecture at the University of Michigan. Miguel then pursued further education at New York University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S) degree in the Tisch Interactive Telecommunications Program.
