Rachel Marie Ortiz is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in various roles within the food service industry. Currently serving as Purchasing Manager at LOCAL Public Eatery since January 2022, Rachel previously held the position of Swing Sous Chef at Earls Kitchen + Bar from August 2019 to January 2022. Rachel's culinary journey began as a Line Cook at Local Public Eatery in 2019, following a Culinary Internship at Gaylord Hotels in 2016 and a Kitchen Trainee role at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria Philippines in 2016. Academic qualifications include an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from American Hospitality Academy, a BS in Entrepreneurship Major In Culinary Arts from Miriam College, and a foundational education from St. James College of Quezon City.
