Catherine Ruggles

Catherine Ruggles is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Trustee for Local Village Network since April 2019, Catherine previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Google from October 2017 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading the London Tech Site and focusing on mobile search applications. Catherine's career includes significant roles such as Chief Technology Officer at Orlin Research, Inc. from July 2006 to September 2016 and at ArtSlant from March 2005 to January 2015. Additional leadership positions include serving as CTO and Senior Vice President of Product Development at WebPutty, Inc., Senior Vice President of Software Development at Enfish, Inc., and Director of Software Development for the Peter Norton Group at Symantec, Inc. Catherine Ruggles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University.
