Oliver Jackson has a diverse work experience. Oliver started their career in 2011 as an Apprentice Planner at BAE Systems, Inc., where they gained experience in detailed scheduling, supporting the build program, and developing bill of materials. After completing their apprenticeship, they worked as a Junior Planner at BAE Systems, contributing to the creation of network plans and resolving schedule issues. In 2016, they were promoted to Senior Network Planner, where they demonstrated exceptional capabilities in creating build and commissioning plans and mentoring new network planners. In 2019, Oliver joined BAE Systems as a Principal Network Planner, specializing in commissioning. In 2020, they ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Small Business Owner of Morecambe Eats, an online food ordering platform catering to the local Lancaster and Morecambe area. Oliver also worked as a Franchise Business Consultant at Local Eats, providing business advice and support to licensees. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Local Eats, where they oversee operations.
Oliver Jackson began their education at St. Bernard's RC High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2004 to 2009. After completing high school, Oliver attended Myerscough College from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a National Diploma in Motorsports. Following this, they enrolled at Furness College from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. Continuing their education, Oliver attended Lancaster University from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Foundation degree in Project Management. Finally, from 2018 to 2020, Oliver studied at the University of Cumbria, earning an Honours Degree in Project Management.
