Laurie McMurray

Laurie McMurray is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in graphic design and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Buffalo State University since January 2023, Laurie also works as an Advertising Creative Designer at LocalEdge and operates as a Freelance Graphic Designer. Previously, Laurie held the position of Student Liaison for the American Advertising Federation, where efforts focused on enhancing the education department through collaborations with students and faculty. Relevant experience includes a Graphic Design Internship at The Copy Store and a role as Campus Ambassador at Buffalo State College. Additionally, Laurie presided over The Visual Arts Board and managed corporate accounts and special events at Designated Drivers of Buffalo. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from Buffalo State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Media Study from the University at Buffalo, and an Associate of Arts in Communications from Erie Community College.
