Juliano Pinheiro

Juliano Pinheiro, Ph.D., CGA, is a distinguished academic and financial expert with extensive experience in investment management and financial education. Currently a Professor and Researcher at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais since August 2017, Juliano focuses on management of banks and financial institutions at the graduate level, while also contributing to undergraduate courses in advanced analysis of financial statements and market investments. Juliano serves as a Substitute Member of the Fiscal Council at Localiza and as Executive Vice President of Education at IBEF Minas Gerais. With a long tenure as a Guest Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, Juliano has also held leadership positions as Chief Investment Officer at ATR Gestão and Fiere Gestão de Recursos Financeiros, establishing independent resource management firms dedicated to medium-to-long-term investments. Juliano's leadership experience includes serving as President of Apimec-MG, improving institutional presence, and fostering educational partnerships in the finance sector. Juliano holds a PhD and MSc in Accounting and Finance from Universidad de Zaragoza, alongside an MBA from Ibmec.
