LocalVet Urgent Care Coming to Missouri City, TX!

Exciting news for Missouri City pets—LocalVet Urgent Care will be the newest clinic in Missouri City, Texas, slated for early summer 2025!  The new clinic will provide urgent care services for pets, offering quick and compassionate medical attention when it’s needed most.  A core value of LocalVet Urgent Care is offering a spectrum of options for your pet’s veterinary care.  Dr. Hodges believes that every pet—and their human—are unique, and so are their medical needs.  Whether it’s emergency care, surgical procedures, or end-of-life options, the clinic will ensure that every pet receives tailored care that is both compassionate and comprehensive.  At LocalVet Urgent care we will have options.


Founded by Dr. William Hodges (Dr WHO), a Texas A&M University (TAMU) grad with over 10 years of practice in emergency medicine. Dr. WHO is excited to offer high-quality, complete care for his patients. His experience in emergency care and his dedication to ensuring pets receive the best treatment in times of need will be the driving force behind LocalVet Urgent Care.  Coming from the emergency veterinary world, Dr. WHO also understands the extent of care that needs to be available when the unexpected occurs.


After-Hours Care
LocalVet Urgent Care will operate from noon to midnight, providing after-hours services when other veterinary clinics may be closed. This ensures that your pet can receive the care they need, even during evenings or weekends.

Opening in early summer 2025
The clinic is scheduled to open in early summer 2025, bringing much-needed after-hours care to Missouri City.  Stay tuned for more updates on the official opening date, we'll be ready to see your pets when we’re up and running!
