Joe Brentin

Joe Brentin is an experienced GIS professional with a substantial background in emergency management and consulting. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Locana since August 2015, Joe also instructs multiple GIS classes at UW Professional & Continuing Education. Prior roles include Manager at PwC, where Joe utilized GIS and project management skills for asset management system implementations, and Emergency Management / GIS Consultant at Critigen, focusing on geospatial and emergency preparedness projects. Joe's career began as a GIS Analyst at Pierce County GIS Division, and earlier experience includes emergency management consulting at CH2M HILL. Joe holds an MS in Strategic Planning for Critical Infrastructure from the University of Washington and a BA in Geography with Environmental Studies from Central Washington University.
