Ty Van Den Akker

Ty van den Akker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, operations, and technology leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Product & Operations at TRC Companies, Inc. since August 2024, following TRC's acquisition of Locana in December 2023, Ty has been instrumental in enhancing product strategies and bringing new solutions to market as Partner & Vice President of Product Strategy at Locana since June 2016. Previous roles include Director of Commercial, State & Local Government Solutions and Director of AEC Services at Critigen (now Locana), as well as significant positions at CH2M Hill and Capital One, where strategic IT management and consulting were key. Ty holds a hybrid MS/MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, complemented by an MSEC in eCommerce.
